ROLE OVERVIEWWe are searching for an experienced real estate attorney to represent NEOM values and protect its interest by providing legal support to NEOM Co. on its challenging and innovative real estate projects. This role requires all manner of real estate, land and property related expertise as this hire will help to broaden the skills of an agile and growing L&C team. Leadership skills, strong technical expertise, flexibility, timeliness and accuracy, and expert relationship management will be critical for the successful applicant.REQUIREMENTS SUMMARYBuild relationships with the business to become a trusted advisorCollaborate effectively with outside counsel, serving as the primary internal liaison on real estate mattersProvide relevant expertise and assurance to relevant teams on drafting and negotiating contracts and providing legal advisory support on various requirementsAnalyze and communicate legal advice with respect to Project related queriesIdeally, be able to advise on environmental law, planning, corporate structuring, investment management and disputes, as requiredROLE COMPETENCIES & ACTIVITIESThe Senior Manager Real Estate responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:Stakeholder ManagementSupport the Legal & Compliance Department function by taking the lead on Projects transactions and the related documents, reviews and discussionsEngage in drafting and negotiating diverse types of agreements and ancillary documents, primarily based on NEOM templatesAssist and support others within the legal department by providing advice, training, and/or guidanceProvide other legal services and advice to the company as neededKnowledge, skills and ExperienceExtensive proven experience managing large and complex Projects transactionsExperience in Projects development throughout all its phases: planning, execution, and post-completionExcellent drafting and negotiation with strong commercial acumenExceptional written and verbal communication and critical thinking skillsAbility to influence and collaborate with members of the real estate legal team, wider L&C team, and business partnersStrong analytical and innovation skills, solutions oriented and with a practical approachSelf-directed with strong initiative, organizational skills, and ability to work well under pressureFlexibility, creativity and ability to adapt to changing needsKnowledge of environmental, planning and land-use requirements a plusCulture and Values Embrace NEOM’s culture and Values https://www.neom.com/en-us/about.Act with honesty and integrity by following best practices, and upholding the robust standards and expectations set out in NEOM’s Code of Conduct.Maintain fair, ethical and professional work practices in accordance with NEOM’s Values and Code of Conduct.Adhere to NEOM’s Policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with rules.EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS Knowledge, Skills and Experience10+ years exoerience in similar fieldRelevant technical expertise and law firm or in-house experienceExperience in PQESuperior academic credentials with a law degree from a leading university and/or law schoolWillingness to be based in NEOM communitySaudi national a plusGCC experience a plusAbility to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.High level of emotional intelligence and diplomacy.QualificationsBachelor degree in Law or relavent field
