Job Summary:The Senior Manager, Civil / Infrastructure, is a key leadership role within PTP’s Project Integration Division (PID), which oversees all strategic and large-scale capital development initiatives. This role is responsible for ensuring the timely, safe, and budget-compliant execution of assigned infrastructure projects while maintaining the highest standards of quality and regulatory compliance.You will lead a multidisciplinary engineering team and work closely with internal stakeholders, consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities to drive excellence in project delivery. This position plays a vital role in supporting the port’s strategic growth and transformation journey by integrating sustainable technologies and operational efficiency into the infrastructure development.Key Responsibilities:Project Execution & Site ManagementSupport Project Managers in delivering projects in line with the Division’s Project Implementation Framework.Coordinate and supervise site activities involving internal teams, consultants, and contractors across civil, electrical, mechanical, or equipment-related projects.Liaise with regulatory authorities to ensure project compliance with statutory requirements.Monitor, validate, and ensure that work quality adheres to contractual specifications and QA/QC standards.Drive site safety practices and enforce compliance with safety regulations.Project Documentation & ReportingMaintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including drawings, specifications, progress reports, manuals, and checklists.Ensure all records are stored appropriately and are easily retrievable for audits or reviews.Stakeholder & Team ManagementBuild strong collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders, consultants, vendors, and authorities.Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers and team members, enhancing their technical and leadership competencies.Continuous ImprovementPromote a culture of continuous improvement by applying lessons learned to future projects.Recommend improvements in project processes, tools, and technical standards.Leadership & StrategyProvide leadership across project stages from initiation through completion.Contribute to strategic infrastructure planning by offering technical insights and feasibility input.Represent the division in internal reviews, stakeholder engagements, and senior leadership discussions.Requirements:Education & CertificationBachelor’s Degree in Civil, Structural, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or other relevant technical field.PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is a strong advantage.ExperienceMinimum of 10–15 years’ experience in project management within civil, infrastructure, port, or maritime environments.Experience in managing complex, multidisciplinary projects and leading small-to-medium teams.Familiarity with port infrastructure (land, roads, water, sewerage), SCADA systems, HV & LV systems, and related services is preferred.Skills & CompetenciesStrong leadership and team development skills.Excellent planning, scheduling, and coordination capabilities.Well-versed in MS Project and MS Office suite.Highly organized, detail-oriented, and solution-focused.Effective verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa.Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and adapt to evolving project challenges.
