Job Description

[What the role is]We are seeking an experienced Human Performance Specialist to join our Safety Division. This role is crucial in optimising both the performance and well-being of our Air Traffic Controllers (ATCOs), Air Traffic Control Support Officers (ATCSOs) and Engineers while driving our human factors and safety initiatives. The position combines expertise in performance psychology, human factors, and safety management to ensure the continued excellence of our air navigation services.[What you will be working on]Performance Enhancement & Mental Well-being:Conduct individual and group coaching sessionsDevelop and implement performance enhancement programmesDesign and drive mental well-being initiatives including peer support programmesProvide training on fatigue management, stress management, and decision-makingSupport fitness for duty assessments and return-to-work programmesHuman Factors & Safety:Lead human factors investigations and analysesDevelop preventive strategies based on investigation findingsContribute to safety management system improvementsConduct workload and fatigue management studiesDesign and deliver human factors training programmesCritical Incident Stress Management:Establish and maintain CISM programmeProvide psychological support following critical incidentsFacilitate group debriefings and peer support sessionsMonitor and analyze programme effectivenessDevelop post-incident support frameworksOrganisational Assessment & Development:Design and conduct safety culture surveys and focus groupsAnalyze operational data to identify human performance trendsDevelop performance metrics and assessment frameworksProvide evidence-based recommendations to managementSupport the development of human performance policies[What we are looking for]Required:Trained in Psychology, Human Factors, or related fieldMinimum 8 years experience in aviation psychology or human factorsStrong expertise in performance coaching and human factors analysisExperience in safety investigations and incident analysisProven track record in programme development and implementationCISM certification or equivalent crisis intervention trainingPreferred:Qualifications in Aviation/Organizational Psychology or Human FactorsExperience in Air Traffic Control or Air Navigation ServicesCertification in psychometric assessmentsBackground in safety management systemsTraining and facilitation experienceSkills & CompetenciesStrong analytical and critical thinking abilitiesExcellence in stakeholder managementOutstanding communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently in a complex environmentProject management capabilitiesData analysis and reporting expertiseWhat We OfferOpportunity to shape human performance initiatives in a world-leading ANSPProfessional development opportunitiesCompetitive compensation packageCollaborative work environmentGlobal industry exposureYour appointment designation will commensurate with your relevant work experience.
