At CEDA we believe curiosity has the power to move the nation forward and together with our 500 member organisations we seek to imagine ‘better’ for all Australians.About the RoleReporting to the Associate Director Strategic Partnerships, this role is responsible for managing a portfolio of member organisations and designing collaborative partnerships that support CEDA’s research and advocacy work.You’ll be the primary relationship manager for senior stakeholders across government, business, and academia - ensuring members derive value from their engagement with CEDA and identifying opportunities for deeper collaboration.You’ll also lead the design and delivery of strategic partnerships that underpin major projects aligned to our Progress 2050 agenda.Key ResponsibilitiesMembership EngagementManage a portfolio of 70-100 member organisationsRetain and grow membership aligned to strategic prioritiesBuild strong relationships with senior decision-makersSupport sponsorship and event engagement in collaboration with the Programming TeamPartnership DevelopmentDesign and secure partnerships for research and advocacy projectsLead discovery workshops and co-design campaigns with prospective partnersOversee partnership delivery, including budgets, timelines, and stakeholder engagementProduce high-quality proposals, project assets, and reporting materialsCollaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment of partnership goals with CEDA’s strategic prioritiesGeneral ResponsibilitiesRepresent CEDA at roundtables and public events, including as host/MCProvide strategic advice and support to the Associate Director Strategic PartnershipsDemonstrate and promote CEDA’s values in all interactionsAbout YouYou’re a relationship builder with a strategic mindset and a passion for public policy. You bring:3+ years’ experience in membership, business development, professional services, or stakeholder engagementProven ability to build relationships with senior executives across sectorsStrong project or event management skillsExcellent written and verbal communication, including confident presentation abilitiesFinancial literacy and experience managing budgets and targetsHigh proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems (Dynamics 365 preferred)A collaborative, curious, and customer-focused approachWhy Join Us?Our work environment is fun, fast-paced and purpose-driven.
