Senior Manager Network Engineering

NCCPL is Hiring – Head of Network Management Group (Senior Manager)REQUISITES: Education: BS/BE in Computer Science or a related discipline from an HEC-recognized institution. Preferred Certifications: Vendor Certifications such as Cisco, Juniper, Huawei, Fortinet Experience: 8–10 years of relevant experience, including 3–5 years in a managerial role or similar capacity. Key Duties and Responsibilities:Lead capacity planning, design, implementation, and lifecycle management of enterprise network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, VPN (S2S, Dialup, SSL), DLP, Secure Web and Email Gateways, Data Center Networks, and Wireless Infrastructure.Ensure high availability and redundancy by analyzing and eliminating single point of failure, and data integrity across all NCCPL sites, while maintaining robust network security controls along with CIS benchmarks, firewalls, and intrusion prevention systems in coordination with the Information Security team.Lead initiatives for the modernization and enhancement of the network infrastructure by adopting technologies such as Software-Defined Networking (SDN), Zero-Trust Architecture, Cloud Integration, and Network Automation. Also ensure all improvements comply with international standards and best practices, remain aligned with organizational IT strategies, and are capable of supporting ongoing digital transformation and business continuity objectives.Lead the upgrades, and lifecycle management to support business expansion and digital transformation initiatives.Oversee 24/7 network monitoring, incident response, and disaster recovery readiness and ensure compliance with ITSM/ISMS/BCMS, and internal IT governance frameworks.Collaborate closely with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and application teams to support secure business operations and establish/ monitor service-level agreements (SLAs) with vendors and service providers.Any other task assigned in alignment with the role. Required Skills:Ability to lead, mentor, and develop a team of skilled network engineers and administrators.Strong expertise in network planning, management, security, and optimization to ensure seamless, resilient, and secure operations across all NCCPL sites and data centers.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Good communication skill, decision making and problem-solving skills with can-do attitude. Location: KarachiBenefits & Compensation:Remuneration package includes; Market competitive salary & other benefits as per Company policy.Interested candidates meeting the above-mentioned criteria can share CVs at hr@nccpl.com.pkPlease mention the position “Head of NMG -SM” in the subject line.Thank you!NCCPL is an equal opportunity employer and we encourage differently abled people to apply for their relevant/suitable areas.
