It’s not every day you get the chance to be responsible for shaping how an organization supports thousands of people on their treatment journey – but in this role, you will.Your new roleAs our Senior Manager, Patient activation & Adherence you will be responsible for shaping and executing the full patient strategy across the affiliate. You will lead the activation and retention agenda end to end, ensuring that every patient touchpoint lives up to our values of patient centricity, quality, and real world impact. You will drive programs that improve initiation, continuity of care, health literacy and long term outcomes, while managing a team and leading strong cross-functional execution.In this role, you will:Design and implement the affiliate’s patient activation and adherence strategy via disease awareness multi-channel campaigns and patient support programs and tools driving onboarding, retention and therapy continuity across the full patient journey.Lead and manage a small team ensuring excellence in execution, innovation and continuous improvement.Develop patient focused education and support programs across digital offline channels together with the patient engagement manager.Translate market and behavioural insights into actionable interventions that reduce barriers to treatment and strengthen real world outcomes.Drive cross functional collaboration with medical, legal, marketing and CEx to ensure aligned and compliant delivery.Direct manage a small team, ensuring strong execution, innovation and continuous improvement.Create compliant, evidence-based patient engagement materials and resources.Partner with external agencies, healthcare professionals and patient organisations.Your new departmentYou’ll join Commercial Marketing team which based in Kfar Saba, Israel, where we bring life-changing therapies to millions of people worldwide. Working closely with our Obesity & Diabetes business unit, you will be part of a team focused on improving patient experiences and ensuring better outcomes beyond the medicine.Within this team, our mission is not only to deliver innovative solutions — but to support people in managing their chronic conditions with confidence. You will play a leading role in evolving our patient approach from awareness and activation to continuous support and adherence.Your Skills & QualificationsTo succeed in this role, you bring strong strategic thinking, patient-centric mindset and proven leadership in healthcare engagement.You should have:Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences or a related field.5+ years’ experience in patient engagement, support programme management, patient services or patient marketing within pharma industry.Experience developing and executing adherence or patient support initiatives.Demonstrated experience leading, managing and developing people, with a track record of building high performing teams and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.Solid understanding of DTC (direct-to-consumer) strategies, working with agencies and cross functional teams. Including planning, execution and optimisation across digital and traditional channels. Strong understanding of Israeli Ministry of Health (MoH) regulations related to patient communications, advertising and promotional compliance.Deep knowledge of customer journey design and proven ability to turn insights into impactful programme strategies.Excellent English and Hebrew communication skills.Working at Novo NordiskEvery day we seek the solutions that defeat serious chronic diseases.
