Senior Manager, Project Development – M&A (2 Roles)Locations: Sydney and/or VancouverDivision: DevelopmentAbout the CompanyOur client is a fast-growing operator in the renewable-powered digital infrastructure sector. With projects across North America and APAC, it combines renewable energy expertise with cutting-edge technology infrastructure to be a leaderThe OpportunityWe are seeking two technically minded project development specialists to support due diligence and execution for new project acquisitions and joint-venture opportunities. These roles sit between commercial deal teams and project-delivery specialists, ensuring that acquired or partnered developments meet technical, environmental, and operational standards from diligence through to handover.Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical due diligence — Oversee technical, environmental, grid, and permitting diligence processes during project M&A and acquisition phases.Coordination of external consultants — Manage engineering, environmental, legal, and commercial advisors across multiple diligence workstreams.Interface management — Work closely with internal project, engineering, and commercial teams to assess development risk and value creation potential.Execution support — Assist in transaction documentation, closeout, and transition to internal development and delivery teams.Process improvement — Develop and implement best-practice frameworks for project diligence and handover documentation.Candidate Profile7–10 years’ experience in renewable energy, power, or infrastructure project development, or technical advisory.Experience in M&A due diligence, feasibility analysis, or project risk assessment.Strong stakeholder-management skills, with a track record of working across technical and commercial disciplines.Proficiency with project planning tools and ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams.Degree in engineering, environmental science, project management, or a related field.
