Our people, shared values and culture underpin our commitment to how we work and our dedication to the quality and safety of our products.Reporting to the Regional Director of Regulatory Affairs, Hill’s has an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Senior Regulatory Affairs candidate with a proven track record to join and support a highly dynamic, successful and motivated team.In this role, you will be the Regulatory Subject Matter Expert for the South Korea market. You will be responsible for ensuring import and in-market compliance for a diverse pet food portfolio; strong liaison with regulators, affiliated agencies and trade associations. It will be imperative to work energetically and pro-actively with local and regional cross-functional teams and global regulatory teams to plan and deliver effective project management with successful outcomes.This is an excellent role for someone who is looking to progress their Regulatory Affairs career through diverse experiences.Key ResponsibilitiesPeople Management: Coach and mentor the Regulatory Affairs Associate (contract position), providing training to expand capabilities and regulatory expertise.Compliance & Testing: Plan and manage all testing programs (quarantine, random, self-feed, etc.) to ensure compliance with import and sales of pet food in Korea.Regulatory Intelligence: Pro-actively monitor and influence pet food regulations to enable robust change. Research, update, and maintain regulatory intelligence files.External Relations: Represent Hill’s at the trade association, government agencies, and other government-related agencies.Labeling & Advertising: Ensure robust local label process with version control and compliance. Review advertising assets in a timely and accurate manner.Assessment & Documentation: Create and maintain all procedures and record keeping. Develop regulatory assessments and position papers for projects (e.g., brand relaunch) and review ingredient assessments (GMO, animal ingredients, etc.).Cross-functional Support: Represent Regulatory Affairs on local cross-functional teams, advising in a timely and pro-active manner on regulatory matters.The Role Offers:Competitive salary, as applicable to the candidate’s experience;Access to online learning and further training;Recognition rewards;Opportunity to progress your career within a truly global organization.To be considered for this opportunity you will have:Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a related field (e.g., Veterinary, Animal or Food Science, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Nutrition, Quality, or similar).Minimum 4+ years’ experience in pet food or a similar regulatory field.Strong depth of understanding of regulatory affairs in Korea with demonstrable experience.Proven ability to work well cross-functionally and to develop productive/collaborative relationships.Excellent oral and written communication skills in Korean and English.Demonstrated ability for people management and fostering teamwork.A high level of attention to detail, maintaining comprehensive records.Robust analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Strong project and time management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple projects concurrently.
