We are looking for candidates with a strong background in applied economic policy analysis, a collaborative mindset, and experience in areas such as international economic engagement, economic security and the Māori economy The ideal candidate can balance long-term strategy with actionable policy advice that addresses complex trade-offs.Public Finance & Value for Money Team - The team oversees the public financial management system, with responsibility for policy advice to improve how government allocates resources and drives agency performance to achieve value for money. Demographic, climate and geopolitical changes are placing growing pressure on public services and the public financial management system needs to evolve in response. We are looking for candidates who can lead that change, with a strong background in public policy, an understanding of the public financial management system, and a proven record of delivering reforms in complex systems.
