Senior Manual Tester

Job Summary The Senior Manual Tester will play a key role in ensuring product quality across all digital and operational systems. The role involves designing and executing test cases, identifying defects, and maintaining detailed documentation of test results. The candidate will collaborate with developers, project managers, and business teams to ensure smooth releases of both web and in-store applications. This position requires a strong understanding of QA methodologies, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy. The ideal candidate will be proactive, methodical, and capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.Primary Responsibilities:Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive manual test cases.Identify, log, and track defects through issue-tracking tools.Collaborate closely with developers to reproduce and resolve bugs.Conduct functional, regression, usability, and system testing.Review requirement documents and provide feedback on testability and quality risks.Participate in test planning, daily stand-ups, and review meetings.Maintain test documentation and version control across releases.Ensure testing covers all edge cases and aligns with business objectives.Perform post-release validations and support UAT activities.Primary Skills:Strong knowledge of software testing life cycle (STLC) and defect life cycle (DLC).Experience with web, mobile, and POS application testing.Proficiency in test case design, execution, and reporting.Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as JIRA or similar.Good understanding of database queries for data validation.Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.Qualification:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Certification in software testing (ISTQB or equivalent) is an advantage.Experience:3–7 years of experience in manual testing with strong functional expertise.How to Apply:Interested candidates can apply through LinkedIn by submitting their updated resume and a short cover note highlighting relevant testing experience.
