Senior Materials Engineer

An international consultancy company are seeking a qualified Senior Materials Engineer to join our team on a prestigious international airport project in East Africa (Ethiopia).Key Responsibilities:Supervise and manage all materials-related activities on site.Review and approve materials submittals, specifications, and test results.Ensure compliance with project standards, codes, and client requirements.Coordinate with design, quality, and construction teams to resolve technical issues.Liaise with laboratories and oversee materials testing and inspection procedures.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.Minimum 15 years of experience, including major infrastructure or airport projects.Strong background in materials testing, quality control, and compliance.Excellent communication and reporting skills.Previous experience in international or large-scale construction projects is preferred.Proficiency in English Language.
