OverviewAre you an experienced Mechanical Engineer with experience from conceptual stage through to detailed design, commissioning and qualification?We have a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our growing team. With excellent people skills, you have a proven ability to work in partnership at all levels. Our German business is now also growing and we are currently recruiting team members for our new Frankfurt office.ResponsibilitiesCoordination of Mechanical Design Team to achieve project deliverablesOwnership of equipment modules and packages through design and procurement phasesGeneration of Data Sheets, Material Requisitions & Enquiry Packages for procurement of equipmentGeneration of Technical Bid Tab Evaluation of vendors in compliance with Client specificationsDeveloping Technical Specifications in compliance with Client requirementsDevelopment of each package through Kick-off meetings, Design Reviews, FAT’s etc.Project manage Suppliers to ensure packages are designed, manufactured and tested as per project requirementsInterfacing with clients, vendors, client project management and other disciplines ensuring the highest level of service is providedInterfacing with client design team/end usersMechanical optimization/site supportDelivery of agreed design scope within budget hours and scheduleQualificationsDegree in Mechanical Engineering (Engineers with a primary degree in Chemical/Process Engineering and relevant process experience may also be considered)10 years+ design experience in the Pharmaceutical and Biopharmaceutical sectorsCandidates must have experience in design and package management of process equipment on API, or Fill Finish or Biopharma projects.Self-starter with confidence in coordinating the efforts of othersGood communication skills (ability to lead Technical reviews with Clients and Suppliers)Chartered status desirableWillingness to travel within DACHProfessional working proficiency in English and German languageWhy PM Group?As an employee-owned company, we are inclusive, committed and driven.
