If so, we want to hear from you!Your positionJoin Semco Maritime as a Senior Mechanical Lead for Mechanical Installation & Outfitting (heating - piping - ventilation) for ship construction within our Defence division. You will play a crucial role in supporting Danske Flådeskibe K/S, a strategic consortium dedicated to building the next generation of vessels for the Royal Danish Navy. Your expertise in mechanical installation and outfitting will not only support Denmark’s maritime industrial base but also contribute significantly to national security.At Semco Maritime, we hold safety as a paramount value. This is a full-time, permanent position, with occasional travel required.Your Tasks & ResponsibilitiesAs the Senior Mechanical Lead, you will manage and coordinate mechanical installation and outfitting activities throughout all project phases.Your Responsibilities Will IncludeDefining and planning the structural construction route from design to production.Defining installation methods for e.g. heating - piping and ventilation and coordinating design inputs for production.Leading the production engineering process for mechanical installations.Serving as the technical point of contact across departments, partners, and suppliers.Providing technical input and specifications for procurement and equipment.Ensuring adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards in all activities.Your Profile & QualificationsWe are seeking a structured and proactive engineer who is deeply passionate about shipbuilding and mechanical outfitting. You should be eager to play a key role in a nationally important defense program and thrive in a cross-functional team environment.Ideal QualificationsBSc or MSc in Mechanical or Marine Engineering.Extensive experience in shipbuilding / ship construction. Alternative could be experience from large scope off-shore or construction sites and / or process facility.Familiarity with classification standards such as DNV or ABS.Proficient in working with technical drawings and 3D models.Fluency in English; Danish language skills are a significant advantage.Welcome to Semco MaritimeAt Semco Maritime, we create change.
