Job Description

Spark Clothing Limited is looking for Senior Merchandiser - SweaterJob Description / ResponsibilityHandle international buyer communication — manage orders from development stage to shipment.Understand sweater product development including yarn selection, gauge, knit structures, trims, wash, embellishments, etc.Costing & Pricing — prepare accurate cost breakdown, negotiate price with buyers.Order execution & follow-up — closely coordinate with production, planning, sourcing, quality, and technical teams to ensure on-time delivery.Sampling management — manage proto/sample/TOP/PP sample approvals with buyers.Follow up on critical path and monitor T&A (Time & Action Calendar) daily to avoid any delays.Supplier coordination — work with yarn mills, accessory suppliers, and sub-contract vendors.Production monitoring — solve issues related to yarn, knitting, linking, washing, finishing, quality, etc.Risk analysis & troubleshooting — anticipating production bottlenecks and solving proactively.Maintain WIP reports, status reports, and present updates to management.Educational RequirementsBachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile EngineeringSkills Required: Sweater Merchandising, Sweater production, Leadership and Good Communication skill., willing to work under pressure and meet dead linesExperience Requirements5 to 10 year(s)The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):Garments,Buying House,Sweater IndustryAdditional RequirementsStrong knowledge of yarn, gauges (3GG, 5GG, 7GG, 12GG), knitting techniques, and sweater construction.Excellent in buyer communication, costing, and negotiation.Strong command of English (written & spoken).Skilled in T&A follow-up and production coordinationJob LocationDhaka (Savar city)
