We are looking for a team mate, Senior Merchandiser (Product group : Heavy Knit) As a Senior Merchandiser, it is preferred that you have sense of technical knowledge supported with fashion for products especially experienced on (flatknit and circular knit) knitting manufacturing experience as well as understanding on yarn qualities, knitting techniques and structures.Important to be proactive as well and act like troubleshooter bothfor identifying and applying solutions to challenges connected to components and production. You will communicate and collaborate closely to Merchandising Manager. Skills, you must have ; · Working experience in similar role, in textile industry· Ability to travel domestically and internationally on a regular basis to meet with suppliers and attend trade shows· Having experience working in an agency company· Flexible , detail oriented, highly energetic, and adaptable team member. Job description: · Daily follow up with suppliers and customers.· Ability to build strong relationships with key customer decision-makers· At least 5-year experience in order management, familiar with the production process of clothing· Proficient in system operation, knowledge of data analysis is preferred· Price negotiation, sourcing suppliers to meet requirements and advance cost effectiveness· Co-operate with Design Team in product development and provide information about yarn, accessories and production situation· Responsible for fabrics and accessories sourcing and development· Digest design Tech Packs and follow up on the production processFrequent vendor visits.Frequent visits to suppliers for research and development Being able to identify key selling points in brands for business development Experience; Minimum 5-year experience in textile industry.Fluency in English language to communicate with customers verbally and in writingEducationGraduation from the related bachelor’s degree
