Senior Network Engineer

Role OverviewExperienced Network Engineer to develop and deliver new data services on the IP/MPLS network. This role reports to the Head of the Services and Supporting Platforms team within the Transport Network Department.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop data services across an ISP networkProvide end-to-end support throughout the service development lifecycleProduce high-level and low-level designs (HLD/LLD)Build and manage a test environment in the development and regression labCreate test catalogues, perform proof-of-concept and regression testing, and adjust service configurations based on resultsCreate LLCG and support service automation initiativesPrepare detailed documentation and train the operations teamCollaborate with internal stakeholders (Network, IT, Business, Operations) and external partners/vendorsTechnology EnvironmentCisco, Huawei, Juniper, Nokia, RAD, and Accedian, with a focus on IP/MPLS, DNS, DHCP, and NFV applications.Required QualificationsAt least 8 years of experience in data network engineering within ISP or carrier environmentsIt's essential that you have worked on new service development/project engineering, and not only maintenance / BAUProven ability to author high- and low-level network designs, plans, and guideline documentsStrong understanding of carrier-grade data networks and associated technologiesDesired Skills and ExperienceRole OverviewExperienced Network Engineer to develop and deliver new data services on the IP/MPLS network.
