Senior Network Engineer

Job descriptionAs a Senior Network Engineer, you will design, implement, and maintain enterprise-level LAN/WAN, VPN, Peering, Transit, and data center networks. You will troubleshoot complex issues, manage network infrastructure, enforce security standards, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless connectivity and performance.Key responsibilitiesDesign and maintain enterprise networks.Troubleshoot and lead root cause analysis.Manage routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.Enforce network security standards.Monitor performance using tools like SolarWinds, Zabbix, Grafana.Document network topologies and procedures.Collaborate with system, security, and cloud teams.Stay updated on networking trends and threats.Qualifications5+ years in enterprise networking roles.Deep understanding of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, NAT, QoS, VPN.Hands-on experience with network devices.Familiarity with Python or Ansible for automation.Experience with firewall policies, ACLs, IDS/IPS.Knowledge of DNS, DHCP, NTP.Cloud networking experience (AWS, Azure, GCP, Linode/Akamai) is a plus.Bonus: CCNP/CCIE or equivalent certifications.
