This role requires deeptechnical expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage both internal coreinfrastructure and client networks with a focus on uptime, scalability, and customer satisfaction.As a senior member of the technical team, you will also act as an escalation point for complex issues,mentor junior engineers, and work closely with account managers to ensure clients receive best-in-class IT services.Key Responsibilities1. Network Design & ImplementationArchitect, configure, and deploy secure, scalable network solutions for multiple clients (LAN,WAN, VPN, wireless, MPLS, SD-WAN).Design multi-tenant environments that support managed firewalls, VLANs, and customersegmentation.Plan and lead migration projects (cloud connectivity, datacenter transitions, office relocations).2. Network Operations & SupportProvide advanced troubleshooting and escalation support for networking issues acrosscustomer environments.Manage and optimize routing, switching, and firewall infrastructures.Maintain SD-WAN/ BGP/OSPF for clients requiring redundant ISP connections.Ensure proactive monitoring, performance tuning, and capacity planning.3. Security & ComplianceImplement and maintain firewall, IDS/IPS, and VPN solutions for multiple customerenvironments.Ensure compliance with data security best practices, including segmentation and least-privilege access.Respond to and mitigate network security incidents.4. Customer EngagementServe as a trusted advisor to clients on networking solutions, upgrades, and best practices.Participate in pre-sales discussions, assisting with network solution design and scoping.Deliver clear communication to non-technical clients and business stakeholders.5. Leadership & Knowledge SharingAct as an escalation point for engineers and technicians.Mentor and develop junior engineers.Maintain documentation, playbooks, and technical standards across customer deployments.Qualifications & ExperienceDegree/Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.7+ years of networking experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead role within an MSPor IT services environment.Strong expertise in:Routing protocols (BGP, OSPF).Switching (Cisco Catalyst/Nexus, HP/Aruba, MikroTik, etc.).Firewalls (Cisco ASA/FTD, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Sophos, MikroTik).VPN technologies (site-to-site, client, SSL).VLANs, QoS, SD-WAN, and wireless networking.Familiarity with multi-tenant environments and MSP monitoring tools (PRTG, ATERA, IT Glueor similar).Exposure to cloud networking (Azure, AWS, Microsoft 365 security & hybrid networking)preferred.Professional certifications (CCNP/CCIE, Fortinet NSE, Palo Alto PCNSE, MikroTik MTCINE)are highly desirable.Key CompetenciesStrong problem-solving and analytical skills.Ability to manage multiple client environments simultaneously.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with both technical and non-technicalaudiences.Strong leadership and mentoring ability.Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to service excellence.RemunerationMarket-related salary (based on experience and qualifications).
