About the Companyactive forwarding is your premium transport logistics partner in Istanbul.We connect Europe with the Near East and Central Asia, providing high-quality supply chain solutions engineered from the first to the last mile.Our focus on precision, reliability, and customer success ensures seamless logistics operations across borders.About the RoleWe’re looking for a Senior Logistics Operations Specialist to join our team in Kağıthane, Istanbul.You’ll be responsible for managing daily transport operations, coordinating carriers and agents, and ensuring customer satisfaction while maintaining profitability.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional who thrives in a dynamic logistics environment.ResponsibilitiesLead and coordinate daily transport operations end-to-end.Negotiate freight rates and service terms with carriers and partners.Arrange pick-ups, bookings, and slot confirmations.Create and update orders, shipments, and milestones in internal systems.Enter and verify costs, charges, and invoices against quotations.Work closely with sales and finance teams to align goals and improve margins.Identify process improvements and contribute to strategic projects.Support trade lanes between Germany–Türkiye and Italy–Türkiye.Requirements5+ years experience in logistics operations, freight forwarding, or dispatching.Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Logistics, Business, or related field.Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical abilities.Skilled with spreadsheets and business software (Zoho / ERP / TMS / WMS).Detail-oriented, organized, and effective in fast-paced environments.Team-oriented with strong problem-solving and follow-through.Language skills: Turkish (C1+) and English (B2+) — all nationalities welcome.Nice to HaveExperience with Zoho CRM / Inventory / Books.Familiarity with transport documents (CMR, delivery notes, pre-alerts).Understanding of Incoterms and international trade procedures.Network or knowledge in Türkiye–Near East / Central Asia markets.Why Join UsAt active forwarding, you’ll be part of a growing, international logistics team shaping the future of premium transport solutions.We value initiative, precision, and collaboration, and offer the chance to make a direct impact in a dynamic, cross-border environment.Equal Opportunityactive forwarding is an equal-opportunity employer.All qualified applicants will receive consideration regardless of nationality, ethnicity, gender, age, or disability.
