Become part of our team!For the Clinic for Pediatric Oral Health and Orthodontics,at the University Center for Dental Medicine Basel (UZB), University of Basel, we are looking for a Senior Orthodontist (80-100%)  with leadership functions, to start immediately or by arrangementYour tasksYou will treat patients in our Orthodontic Clinic, in more difficult cases on an interdisciplinary basis, also considering business management aspects. As a leader, you will actively support the post-graduate students in their theoretical and practical training in the postgraduate programme and lead the clinical training course in the first or second master's year. In the area of research, you support master's students, doctoral students and postgraduate students. You enjoy sharing your clinical and scientific knowledge with staff, working in team within the department and the other clinic of UZB. Our requirementsAs a specialist in orthodontics, you have several years of professional experience in orthodontic treatment of both adolescent and adult patients. In clinical work, you are convincing due to your confident manner and your role model function. Your experience in the field of research enables you to carry out independent research work as well as to supervise master's students, doctoral students and dentists in training.  You are familiar with administrative and logistical tasks in the treatment of patients and in teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate level.  In addition, you are characterised by commitment, conscientiousness, the ability to work in a team and flexibility.
