We are hiring our first Senior Partner Manager for Staffbase in Japan!As our Senior Partner Manager, Japan you will play a crucial role in expanding our client base and nurturing strategic partnerships. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth through direct sales efforts and by managing and developing our partner relationships. You will develop strategies and tactics to maximize our sales growth, build relationships with key decision makers (C-Suite, HR Leadership), expand our current business, and work with our partner ecosystem.We believe in fostering an environment of growth and innovation, and we are looking for an individual who is passionate about sales, customer success, and technologyThis is a hybrid role requiring minimum 1-2 days in the Tokyo office per week.What you'll be doingWorking in a small but mighty collaborative team, work towards growing the APAC region for StaffbaseManage and nurture relationships with new partners, including technology partners, resellers, and consultants across the regionDevelop and execute partner enablement programs to ensure partners have the knowledge and resources needed to promote and sell Staffbase's solutions effectivelyCo-selling with Partners to potential clients, showcasing the value and benefits of Staffbase's solutionsBuild strong relationships with potential clients, understand their challenges, and demonstrate how Staffbase can address their internal communication needsCollaborate with partners to develop joint go-to-market strategies and identify co-selling opportunitiesBecome an expert on employee communication and engagement strategiesBring your strategies and ideas to advance our company's values, unique culture, and vision for the futureMeet and exceed partner generated sales targets, contributing to the overall revenue growth of the companyMonitor and evaluate partner performance against agreed-upon metrics and objectivesWhat you'll need to be successfulMin. 7+ years of experience in Partnerships/SaaS sales in Japan, producing and exceeding targets, ideally within web technology, collaboration, communication, or an innovative online product environmentExperience with partner management or channel salesExperience in a start-up/scale-up environment preferredEmotional intelligence and the ability to really listen to and understand your prospectsExcellent negotiation and communication skillsDemonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client and partner relationshipsTons of passion, humor, and enthusiasmSelf-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independentlySuperior communication and closing skillsWhat you'll getCompetitive Compensation - we offer attractive salary packages including LTIP (unit-based Long Term Incentive Plan)Flexibility - we offer flexible working time models and the option of hybrid workGrowth Budget - all employees get a yearly budget for external trainingWellbeing - in addition to yearly vacation days of 31 days p.a., we're running a 4-day work week every year in August with full paymentSupport - we're offering support on private health insurance.
