It’s the development engine for our Digital Services such as Office Flow, KONE 24/7 Connected Services and Partnership Ecosystem.We are now looking for a (Senior) Patent Expert, Digital Solutions to join our Patent Management -team. Our team is responsible for ensuring protection of KONE technologies and designs. We manage patenting process from Invention Disclosures to Granted Patents globally and provide support for different functions in IPR related questions.The team is based in Hyvinkää, Finland but the position’s location is flexible in Finland, and you could work both in Espoo & Hyvinkää, and you can also work some days per week remotely.As a Patent Expert, you willEvaluate invention disclosuresDraft patent applications independently or in cooperation with external patent agenciesProcess patent applications independently and in co-operation with local representativesManage part of KONE's patent portfolioSupport relevant R&D units/ projects in IPR related issuesManage patent risks on certain technology areaIn order to be successful in this role you haveM.Sc. in technology or a relevant fieldPractical IPR experience from industry, patent office or a patent agencyKnowledge related to digital technologies for example IoT, connectivity, AI and software.
