To help accelerate our growth and pace of delivery, we are looking for talented Senior People Operations Specialist to help spearhead our HR operations.As a Senior People Operations Specialist, you will play a key role in building and maintaining the infrastructure that enables our team members to thrive - wherever they are in the world. You’ll manage operational HR processes, contribute to strategic initiatives, and ensure a seamless employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong generalist background and global HR exposure who enjoys both strategic thinking and operational execution in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.What you'll be doing:Identify and implement process improvements to improve employee experience and operational efficiencyManage employee data in our HRIS (e.g., BambooHR or equivalent) and ensure data integrity and reporting accuracyPartner with cross-functional teams (Legal, Payroll, Finance, Product) to ensure smooth and compliant global employment operationsOptimize core People Operations processes together with the rest of the People Operations team: onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, compliance, and employee recordkeepingAct as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices across multiple jurisdictionsEnsure compliance with labor laws and regulations in all jurisdictions where we operate or hireContribute to the development and implementation of People policies, handbooks, and internal documentationCollaborate with the People team to support strategic projects such as performance reviews, talent development, and organizational planningWhat you’ll need:7+ years of experience in HR/People Operations roles, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead capacityExperience working in a global, distributed company and supporting remote teams across multiple time zonesStrong knowledge of HR best practices and compliance across different regions (e.g., North America, Europe, LATAM, APAC)Hands-on experience with HR tools (HRIS, ATS, payroll systems, etc.)Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and thrive in an agile, high-growth environmentProactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable making data-driven decisionsPassion for building inclusive, high-performing teams and improving employee experienceWhy work at RemoFirst?
