About SonioEach year, 140M children are born. Birth defects affect 1 in 33 births in developed countries, and in 50% of cases, they are not detected during prenatal examinations. Prenatal medicine is particularly complex, and the scans impose heavy responsibilities on healthcare professionals. They can also be a source of stress for future parents.Resulting from 5 years of collaboration between world-renowned experts from Necker Hospital and Ecole Polytechnique, Sonio uses artificial intelligence to improve prenatal screening and diagnosis. Based on patented algorithms and a proprietary expert database, Sonio aims to become the reference tool to help practitioners improve screening, reduce diagnostic errors, and optimize pregnant women’s medical path.Sonio's mission is to improve women's and children's health by promoting access and quality of care through technological innovation, medical expertise, and collective intelligence.About The RoleWe have been very intentional in growing Sonio with a strong culture centred around four pillars: Impact, Product, People & Performance. In this role, you’ll focus on how to maximise the performance of a growing 80-person cross-border team. You’ll report directly to the Director of People & Culture, excom member & board observer. Main tasks will be:Support the excom in building the team & Processes that will reach 2026 and onwards objectives (Revenue generation, Customer satisfaction, installation at scale)Define & run Sonio’s performance framework holisticallyRun the performance review cycles end-to-endContinuously improve the incentive system & salary grid to reward performance fairly across the teamEnsure metrics used to follow performance are robustCoach, Train & Support manager to guarantee a great management experience for each employee in line with our culture of performance and careOwn the overall training plan for the company (€100k+ budget) to ensure we have the right team & skills to address business challengesAs the first US-hire in the HR team, you’ll focus specifically on the US, ensuring we can provide a best-in-class employee experience. Also, you’ll support some operational tasks in the US. You'll work with all teams and have a lot of exposure to the CEO (also based in the Boston office), COO and other excom members.Our vision on performance: We believe Performance does not describe who you are; you are not an overperformer or an underperformer, performance is related to a person/group with a defined context & timeline.
