You will play a pivotal part in bridging laboratory innovation and industrial implementation — overseeing pilot operations, data generation, process optimization, and scale-up planning.Key ResponsibilitiesLead pilot plant operations focused on hydrometallurgical process developmentTranslate lab-scale chemistry into robust pilot-scale systemsDevelop process parameters, operational protocols, and safety proceduresManage equipment design, installation, commissioning, and troubleshootingGenerate detailed technical reports and recommendations for full-scale commercializationCollaborate cross-functionally with R&D, engineering, and operations teamsIdeal Profile8+ years of experience in pilot plant operations or process scale-up Deep understanding of hydrometallurgy, solvent extraction, leaching, precipitation, or related processes Demonstrated success taking a process from concept to pilot to productionStrong technical acumen paired with practical, hands-on problem-solving abilityExperience in battery materials, critical minerals, or recycling is a plus but not requiredCompany Location:The company is located in Canada and this role will require you to be on-site.ConfidentialityDue to the nature of this search, all inquiries and applications will be treated with the highest level of confidentiality.
