Job Description

The Senior Plants Manager is an experienced Supply Chain/Manufacturing Leader responsible for managing and developing people, delivering results across key performance metrics (including safety, quality, efficiency and cost), supporting the launch of new products, managing change, and driving continuous improvement. The Senior Plants Manager is responsible for all elements of the manufacturing sites, including people, equipment, property and all aspects of production in Saudi plants.ResponsibilitiesStrategic and Plant OperationsAccountable for establishing targets for KPI’s including safety, quality, cost, operating efficiency/productivity, etc and then driving attainment of the plants balanced scorecard in a manufacturing facility.Drive, model and support desired plants culture, vision & team-based structure,Lead culture development, provide change leadership, and proactive IDEA (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Allyship) initiatives.Create short and long-term strategies with clear roadmaps for success.Ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.Monitor direct reports' performance and the performance of their teams, leveraging recognition programs and supporting behaviour modification, fostering an environment of trust, open communication, and ownership.Demonstrate financial acumen and proficiency in financial analysis and P&L management.Manage and control plant operation expense control withing the approved budget.Executes capital projects within approved budget cost and time frame.Monitors operational expenses, materials usage and Losses and overall unit cost to insure efficient resources utilization and to initiate corrective actions as required.Monitors delivered results and initiates corrective actions as required on the following:Productivity, utilization, and efficiencyProduct and Service QualitySafety and HousekeepingMaterial usage and Loss ControlInventory Levels (Raw / Finished Stocks)Unit CostCost SavingsOther objectives as neededImprove operations through data analytics, technology leverage, loss identification, and strategic improvements.Deliver effective, audience-tailored communicationQualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering or relevant field10+ years of successful manufacturing leadership experience, consistently delivering key operational results.Experience starting up & commissioning new equipment or production linesStrong leadership in continuous improvement environments.Fluency in English (required), Arabic (preferred)Skills and Abilities:Exceptional leadership ability with high EQ and demonstrated success in interpersonal skills and relationship building.Ability to plan and execute multiple projects/activities.Strong interpersonal skills to effectively lead and influence multi-directionally and across organizational boundaries.Proven ability to develop talent, hold others accountable, and give/receive constructive feedback.A strong acumen of manufacturing technologies, functions & processesEffective decision-making, risk management, and prioritization skills.Achieving high results in the above areas while in a manufacturing leadership role(s)Core Competencies:Empathy & Emotional IntelligenceStrong Listening SkillsDrives Vision & PurposeAction Oriented & ProactiveDrives Results & SolutionsDevelops Talent & Builds Effective TeamsDrives EngagementBeing Resilient & CourageousSituational AdaptabilityEnsures AccountabilityPassionate and ProactiveOptimizes Work Processes
