Role: Senior Policy AdministratorReports to: Customer Operations ManagerDepartment: OperationsOur CompanyBBPM Life dac is an Irish company based in Ireland since December 1999. The company is authorized by the Central Bank of Ireland to sell class I and III assurance product in some European countries on a freedom of service basis. The company continues to develop new products for new and existing distribution channels in the European market. The Company's products are currently distributed in Italy through Banco BPM (the third Italian banking Group).The Role We are currently looking for a Senior Policy Administrator to join our Company on a full-time and permanent contract. This is a crucial role offering hybrid work options after 6 months’ probation, subject to Company policies.The Policy Administrator plays a central role in managing the end-to-end lifecycle of insurance policies, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely service delivery. While primarily focused on policy administration, the role also supports operational oversight activities, contributes to process improvements, and engages with third-party service providers to uphold service standards. The successful candidate is a motivated, willing to take responsibilities and able to adapt in a forward thinking, fast paced environment. The individual will need to demonstrate drive, analytical skills, curiosity, an ability to work from his or her own initiative and an attention to detail.Key responsibility, including but not limited to:Proven experience in the end-to-end policy lifecycle management and quality assurance (new business, post sales transactions, claims, release of payment instructions, communication to clients)Provide excellent customer service to relevant stakeholder (Distributor, Clients, Internal Customers) according to internal and external SLAs.Handle referrals, escalations, and customer complaintsImplement Operational Changes:proven experience in assisting with the drafting of business requirements and supervise change to readiness and production stages.Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate system updates and process changes.Collaborate with internal teams and third-party providers to ensure readiness and smooth implementation.Continuous Improvement: contribute to the continuous review and improvement of processes and procedure to maximise resources and quality.Develop and maintain departmental documentation including policies, procedures, and operating manuals.Ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.Provide support and cover as necessary for the Operation Department, including Team Leader and ManagerCore Competences Proven working experience in life insurance business.A working knowledge of cross border insurance.A working knowledge of company working in Freedom of Service.Strong communication, both written and oral, and customer service skills.Communicative with the ability to work well within a team.Attention to details and analytical skills.Ability to perform under pressure, manage tight deadlines whilst not compromising on quality.Ability to multitask & priorities queries.Highly self-motivated and ability to work on own initiative.Willingness to take in new responsibilities.Strong Organizational skillFlexibility in the day-to-day dutiesStrong Problem solving and facilitation skills.Qualifications Third Level qualification required or above.At least 3 years’ experience as policy administrator in life assurance businessPolicy administration and customer service experienceTechnically competent: proficiency in MS 365 Office suite essentialItalian Language: native or fluentEnglish Language: fluentEqual Opportunity Employment PolicyWe are committed to ensuring that everyone feels accepted and safe at work and are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
