Senior Principal Dry Utilities

About The RoleJoin our dynamic Land Development team and play a key role in delivering complex infrastructure projects across Saudi Arabia. We’re looking for aSenior Principal Dry Utilitiesto lead the technical delivery of electrical, telecommunications, and street lighting systems for large-scale master planning and land development initiatives.Key responsibilities and duties are listed, but not limited to, the below:Lead the design and documentation of dry utility systems including electrical, telecom, and street lighting.Manage electrical load calculations, LV schedules, voltage drop and cable de-rating calculations.Design HV, MV, and LV networks, including single-line diagrams and layout plans.Develop telecom infrastructure designs and GSM coverage layouts.Design street lighting networks, including tunnel and underpass lighting.Ensure BIM integration (e.g., Civil 3D) in project delivery.Oversee quality and timely delivery of dry utility components across multiple projects.Ensure compliance with design standards and contract requirements.Coordinate with other disciplines to deliver integrated design solutions.Engage with clients, developers, and stakeholders to secure approvals and present proposals.Drive innovation and continuous improvement in design and delivery processes.Candidate specificationsBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant degree; Chartered Engineer status (CEng or equivalent) preferred.15+ years of post-graduate experience, ideally in a design consultancy.Strong leadership skills with experience managing multidisciplinary teams.Expertise in dry utility design across the full project lifecycle.Proven experience in infrastructure projects within Saudi Arabia.Deep understanding of local authority standards and approval processes.Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a focus on innovation.Willingness to travel for short-term assignments.
