Senior Process Engineer

ExperienceJob Description Minimum 10 years’ experience in EPCengineering (Biogas plants/Power/Oil & Gas preferred)Qualification Bachelor’s Degree (B.E./B.Tech.) inMechanical, Chemical, or Process EngineeringKeyResponsibilities Lead preparation of Process FlowDiagrams (PFDs), P&I Diagrams, and technical specifications forequipment/packages. Conduct hydraulic calculations,pressure drop analyses, and ensure robust process designs. Prepare technical specifications,bid documents, and participate in technical bid evaluations and pre-ordertechnical analysis. Review post-order vendor drawingsand provide manufacturing clearances; ensure compliance with projectrequirements. Oversee material handling systemdesigns, including screens, shredders, conveyors, etc.. Manage interdisciplinarycoordination with layouts, piping, electrical, civil, and procurement teams. Interpret and apply piping materialspecifications within project scope. Supervise, mentor, and guide 3–4junior engineers for at least 3 years; foster team technical capability. Ensure delivery of engineeringdeliverables within the project schedule and cost. Perform site visits, inspections, andresolve technical queries or challenges during project execution.CriticalCompetencies Expertise in process and mechanicalengineering across the EPC lifecycle (design, procurement, construction,commissioning). Hands-on proficiency with processsimulation, hydraulic analysis, and technical specification writing. Strong understanding of projectworkflow, technical bid evaluation, post-order management, and cross-functionalengineering. Effective project leadership, issueresolution, and risk management skills.TechnicalCompetencies Advanced knowledge of PFDs,P&IDs, hydraulics, pressure drop calculations, process equipment, andmaterial handling systems. Familiarity with applicable codes,standards (ASME, API, ISO), and safety/environmental regulations for EPCprojects. Proficiency in engineering software preferred(Arrow/ Fathom/ HTRI ). Experience in vendor management, drawing review, andtechnical closure of packages. Interdisciplinary teamwork (piping,electrical, civil, instrumentation).AdditionalRequirements Strong written and verbalcommunication skills for technical reporting, vendor interactions, and projectcoordination.
