We are looking to hire a Senior Procurement Excellence Specialist who will be responsible for leading the implementation of procurement excellence frameworks, process optimization, and vendor performance initiatives for our client based in the United Arab Emirates, which is one of the largest companies in the region.This position is a permanent role. The role sits within the Procurement Department and reports directly to the Procurement Excellence Manager.We are looking for a passionate Procurement Excellence Specialist who is committed to driving operational efficiency, compliance, and continuous improvement across sourcing and vendor management processes. You should also have strong analytical capabilities and experience in process automation, category management, and digital transformation tools such as Power BI and ERP systems.Key Responsibilities:Implement procurement excellence frameworks covering governance, category management, supplier evaluation, and performance metrics.Ensure compliance with procurement policies, Delegation of Authority (DoA), audit requirements, and UAE regulatory standards.Analyze procurement processes to identify inefficiencies and drive improvements using Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.Develop and maintain process documentation and standard operating procedures for sourcing, tendering, and vendor management.Monitor key procurement KPIs including cycle time, cost savings, supplier performance, and compliance levels.Lead automation initiatives to streamline sourcing and approval workflows in coordination with IT and Finance.Conduct supplier segmentation, performance evaluation, and benchmarking to identify cost-reduction and value-creation opportunities.Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Finance, Legal, Risk, and Operations) to ensure compliance and efficiency in procurement activities.Develop and automate procurement performance dashboards and reports using Power BI and ERP Analytics.Knowledge, Skills & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline. Professional certifications such as CIPS, CPSM, Lean Six Sigma, or PMP are preferred. Minimum 5–7 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or process excellence roles. Strong experience in data-driven decision-making, spend analytics, and process automation. Proficiency in Power BI, Excel, and ERP systems. Excellent understanding of procurement best practices and UAE tendering regulations.
