Senior Procurement Specialist – FPSO / FLNG EquipmentLocation: Yantai, ChinaIndustry: Offshore Oil & Gas / FPSO / FLNGExperience: 8+ YearsOpen to ExpatsWe are seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Specialist to lead the sourcing and procurement of complex equipment packages for major FPSO and FLNG projects. This role is critical in ensuring high-quality equipment delivery, competitive commercial terms, and smooth coordination across technical and project teams.Key Responsibilities• Equipment Procurement Management Manage the full procurement cycle for complex equipment packages across assigned offshore projects.• Supplier Negotiations Lead negotiations with international suppliers to secure optimal commercial terms, conditions, and delivery schedules.• Procurement Planning & Execution Execute procurement plans and ensure equipment delivery timelines are aligned with overall project schedules.• Order Tracking & Issue Resolution Monitor equipment order progress, proactively address delays, and resolve supplier or logistics issues.• Cross-Functional Coordination Collaborate closely with project teams, engineering departments, logistics, and other key stakeholders to ensure seamless procurement processes.• Contract Management Manage contract execution, including order placement, invoicing, payments, shipment arrangements, and contract amendments.• Supplier Relationship Management Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to foster long-term partnerships.• Market Analysis Conduct market assessments on pricing trends, supplier capabilities, risks, and global supply chain dynamics.Job Requirements: Minimum 8 years of procurement experience in the offshore Oil & Gas sector, specifically with FPSO and FLNG projects.Proven track record managing large-scale equipment procurement including negotiations, contracting, and risk management.Strong knowledge of topside module equipment and the international supply market.Skills & AbilitiesExcellent negotiation and commercial skills.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and issue-resolution capability.Effective communication skills with suppliers and internal stakeholders.Proficiency in procurement systems, ERP tools, and MS Office.Understanding of international trade rules, customs, tariffs, and logistics.Other RequirementsWillingness to travel domestically and internationally for supplier visits and industry events.Ability to perform under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Strong command of English.
