The Responsibilities associated with this position include:ProcurementLead sourcing processes for strategic and complex goods and services.Validate purchase requests (PRs) for accuracy, compliance, and completeness.Draft, review and manage procurement documents (RFIs, ITBs, RFPs, RFQs) in accordance with the project requirement.Prepare and conduct bid evaluations to ensure fairness and compliance.Recommend vendors based technical and commercial evaluation outcomes.Negotiate with vendors to secure optimal pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.Issue POs, track progress, and ensure on-time delivery completion.Assist in contract creation, including warranty provisions, liquidated damages, payment milestones, and risk terms.Support contract negotiations, claims management, and dispute resolution in coordination with legal and project teams.Support the development and execution of Project Procurement guidelines aligned with the organizational goals and SCM standards.Prepare and monitor annual procurement plan to ensure timely delivery, cost optimization and alignment with the project requirement.Supplier ManagementConduct Supplier Performance evaluation against KPIs and contract requirements, recommend corrective actions when necessary.Perform market research on product availability, pricing trends, and vendor capabilities to identify potential and reliable vendors.Maintain supplier relationships and support warranty claims and issue resolution and continuous improvement initiatives.Logistics and DeliveryCoordinate delivery schedules and documentation with the end-users, logistics teams, and third-party logistics providers (3PL).Monitor movement of goods between warehouses and project sites.Reporting and ComplianceMaintain complete and procurement records to support audit readiness and compliance requirement.Prepare procurement and cost-benefit reports to support informed management decision-makingCoordination and communicationCollaborate with end-users, project owners, logistics, and finance teams to validate specifications, align procurement activities with the contract terms, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.Coordinate with project teams to support timely execution of procurement strategies, mitigate risks, and optimize costs across all project phases.Work with site warehouse and logistics teams to ensure on-time acceptance of goods and services and resolve any delivery issues promptly.RequirementsSkills: In depth knowledge of supply chain management principles.Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Knowledgeable in local and international sourcing strategies.Knowledge in EPC/EPCM procurement frameworks (e.g. FIDIC, related industry standards).Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong business acumen with demonstrated leadership, negotiation, and supplier relationship management skillsEffective in cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder alignment.Uncompromising on HSE and ESG compliance.Proficient in project and procurement tools (MS Project, Oracle procurement system, Microsoft Office).Experience: At least 5 years in procurement, with EPC/EPCM project involvement.Strong knowledge of procurement best practices, project lifecycles, and contract management in infrastructure, construction, and energy sectors.Knowledge of INCOTERMS, trade compliance, and logistics documentation.Education:BS in Supply Chain Management, Accounting, Engineering degree - or equivalent experience.
