We provide our customers with the most competitive shipping rates, print labels, automated international documents, shipment tracking, facilitate the returns process and more.How we’ll deliver success:Shippo is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead one of our web application teams focused on the Order Fulfillment experience, including our pick & pack workflows.In this role, you will own the customer-facing workflows that warehouse and back-office teams use every day to pick, pack, and ship orders—turning “order placed” into “order out the door” as quickly and accurately as possible.You’ll define and execute a product strategy that improves fulfillment speed and accuracy, reduces operational complexity, and drives measurable impact for merchants of all sizes. You’ll work cross-functionally to identify the most important fulfillment problems to solve, leveraging a deep understanding of user behavior, operational workflows, data insights, and market trends to prioritize and deliver features that unlock growth and efficiency.This role requires a balance of strategic vision, data-driven decision making, and strong execution. You’ll champion customer empathy (especially for warehouse operators and operations leaders), collaborate across teams, and ensure our fulfillment and QuickPack experiences evolve to meet the needs of merchants as they scale.What Success Looks Like:You deeply understand merchant and warehouse pain points around picking, packing, and preparing shipments — and translate those insights into impactful product solutions.You use data and experimentation to drive strategy, prioritization, and product decisions for fulfillment flows (e.g., time-to-ship, mis-ship rate, packing errors, operator efficiency).You make smart trade-offs, balancing operator experience, merchant business goals, and technical constraintsYou align stakeholders across product, engineering, design, partnerships, CX, and leadership around a clear fulfillment product roadmapYou deliver improvements that directly enhance fulfillment efficiency, customer satisfaction, and revenue impact for Shippo and our merchantsShipping & Handling ResponsibilitiesOwn and evolve Shippo’s Order Fulfillment experience within the web application, from order readiness through label creation and handoff to carriersDevelop and execute a strategic roadmap for pick & pack workflows, informed by user research, data insights, and competitive analysis (e.g., batch picking, pack station flows, verification steps, exception handling)Define and monitor key success metrics for fulfillment, ensuring outcomes are measurable and tied to merchant value (such as time-to-fulfill, error rates, on-time dispatch, and operator productivity)Partner closely with engineering and design to deliver high-quality, intuitive workflows that are performant and scalable for merchants ranging from small shops to high-volume shippersConduct ongoing discovery with merchants, warehouse operators, and internal teams to understand how Shippo is used in real fulfillment environments, where friction exists, and which opportunities create the most impactCollaborate with cross-functional partners — including carrier partnerships, customer success, sales, and marketing — to ensure product decisions reflect customer needs, operational realities, and business objectivesChampion a data-informed culture by leveraging experimentation, A/B testing, and analytics to guide decision-making and validate new fulfillment capabilitiesEnsure fulfillment experiences are tightly integrated with the rest of Shippo’s platform (orders, labels, carriers, and tracking) to provide a cohesive end-to-end experienceDo you tick the boxes?5+ years of Product Management experience, including ownership of customer-facing experiences or core operational workflowsDemonstrated success driving strategic roadmaps with measurable business impactStrong analytical skills with experience leveraging data, metrics, and experimentation to inform decisionsExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence and align diverse stakeholdersCustomer-first mindset with proven ability to turn qualitative insights into product strategy and roadmapExperience in eCommerce, fulfillment, warehouse operations, order management, WMS, or shipping workflows is a strong plusComfortable working in a fast-paced environment with evolving prioritiesWhat is in the Shippo Package?Healthcare coverage for medical, dental, and vision (90% avg. covered by the company, incl. dependents). The standard base pay range for this role is min is $134k to a max $182k annual salary. We tend to anchor our pay in the middle of this range ($158k). Since we are focused on hiring Shippos Everywhere, we have 2 US pay ranges, a standard compensation range for the majority of the US and a standard +1 compensation range for those who live in areas where the cost of labor is higher, such as NYC and California.The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: financial budgets, work experience, training, transferable skills, business needs, and market value. The base pay salary ranges are subject to change and may be modified in the future. Total compensation for this role will include, equity, medical, dental, vision and other benefits noted in our Shippos “package” section.
