Our comprehensive software as a service platform enables companies to understand and classify data, as well as detect and remediate issues to prevent data exposure and data loss. Powered by innovative technologies, Proofpoint has a proven track record of rapid growth, providing enterprise-wide solutions for some of the largest companies in the world. Your day-to-dayOwning and defining product requirements and vision for cloud data protection product Defining high-level product priorities to align with the vision Maintenance of the product backlog, creating user stories and other requirements documentation Working with engineering, QA, and doc teams to deliver the required solutions on schedule Assisting product marketing to develop new sales tools, including collateral, white papers, presentations, web content, and other customer and channel communications Supporting the sales organizations to increase their effectiveness, having direct involvement in strategic deals Educating the sales, sales engineering, professional services and support organizations on the product as well as provisioning and management best practices On-going primary and secondary market research, analyzing the market opportunity and competitive landscape Working directly with customers to communicate vision and aid in the resolution of escalated customer issues  What You Bring To The Team5+ years of product management or strategic business management experience in enterprise software and/or enterprise-focused cloud services Ability to manage complex initiatives with limited supervision Strong written and oral communication skills as this role will include extensive customer interaction Strong technical skills allowing you to effectively engage in implementation conversations with the engineering team Market understanding of data security and information protection areas  Why Proofpoint?
