Its mission is to empower users with accessible financial services while building a trustworthy and scalable digital lending ecosystem for the future.Role OverviewThe Senior Product Manager will lead end-to-end product development for core IT products within a fast-scaling digital lending ecosystem. This role demands strong technical depth, hands-on product ownership, and the ability to translate complex requirements into actionable product roadmaps. The position requires Mandarin proficiency and close coordination with cross-functional, international teams—including Engineering, IT, Compliance, and Finance. The ideal candidate brings solid experience in Agile delivery, regulatory coordination, and the ability to negotiate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyse IT product performance and identify opportunities to enhance system reliability, user experience, and operational efficiency.Drive the full lifecycle of IT product development—from requirements definition and planning to design, implementation, release, and continuous iteration.Lead a team of Product Owners in their day-to-day activities, ensuring alignment with overall product vision, priorities, and delivery timelines.Prioritize features and manage trade-offs between technical feasibility, business impact, regulatory needs, and user experience.Develop and communicate a clear product strategy and roadmap aligned with business goals.Prioritize initiatives and manage trade-offs between customer experience, business impact, technical performance, and post-launch support.Collaborate cross-functionally with design, engineering, operations, and data teams to deliver high-quality products and enhancements on time.Utilize Jira and Agile methodologies to plan, track, and manage sprints, releases, and cross-team dependencies.Apply coding knowledge (for understanding, reviewing, or communicating technical requirements) to improve product planning and execution.Coordinate with regulatory bodies and internal compliance teams to ensure all product releases meet industry and local regulatory standards.Gather and interpret customer insights to guide product decisions, especially for peer-to-peer interactions, trust, and engagement features.Negotiate effectively with vendors, partners, and internal stakeholders to resolve blockers and drive successful outcomes.Monitor key metrics, user feedback, and market trends to inform ongoing improvements and new opportunities.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.Proficiency in both Mandarin and English.Minimum 2–3 years of strong project management experience handling IT product initiatives.Hands-on experience with coding, understanding technical architectures, and working closely with developers.Proven experience using Jira and working in Agile/Scrum environments.Background in IT and Finance industry roles, preferably within fintech or digital lending ecosystems.Demonstrated ability to manage full product lifecycles—from concept to post-launch improvement.Experience managing regulatory coordination, compliance requirements, and risk considerations.Strong negotiation skills and the ability to handle stakeholder expectations effectively.Proven experience managing a product through all stages of its lifecycle from concept to post-launch iteration.Having a project management certification (e.g., PMP) and a Risk Management certification from AFPI is a plus.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization skills.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to work effectively with cross-functional and international teams.Proven ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.Familiarity with peer-to-peer platforms dynamics is an advantage.
