Job DescriptionRemarkable people, trusted by clients to design and advance the world.Wood is recruiting for a Senior Project Assistant to join its Projects – Process and Chemical Team, focusing on engineering, procurement and construction of complex plants in the Chemical, Petrochemical and Energy industries. The position will be based in Antwerp.The RoleYou will be part of the General Administration Team and your main task will be to manage and confirm adherence to the company policies and procedures used to manage the office infrastructure and resources, and to assign and monitor administrative responsibilities and tasks to ensure maximum efficiency to support our projects.Our Clients and ProjectsDesigning the future. Manage site access for various sites / people Manage the onboarding of new suppliers. Support with preparation and sending of Purchase Orders Open and support employees with IT tickets and keep track of IT material for the office and site Work cooperatively with other team members and managers and provide administrative support Communicate effectively with other managers and employees Provide support and liaise with our Milan office and local suppliers, for example copy centers, car rental companies, etc. Prepare and maintain various cost and statistical reports to support project activities Pro-actively connect with various departments in our head office in Milan or our GEC in India and maintain a good relationship Maintain a safe and secure working environment Ensure security, integrity and confidentiality for the project Provide assistance with technical systems, software and related information technology QualificationsWhat makes you remarkable?At Wood, we are committed to equal opportunities and welcome all talented individuals to consider joining our team. It will take all of us working together to deliver solutions to the world’s most critical challenges High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred. 2 years of proven experience in the role Basic knowledge of standard accounting procedures, company policies and procedures, purchasing and receiving procedures, timekeeping procedures and office administration required. Knowledge of training and supervisory techniques Experience with social compliance is a plus Knowledge of MS Office mandatory, Oracle is a plus Personal Attributes Self-motivation, a proactive outlook and good communication skills Problem analysis and assessment Work and time management and ability to multi-task and prioritize work Strong teamwork, problem solving, organizational and communication skills are essential.
