This is an exciting opportunity to lead innovative water projects, while maintaining and building strong client relationships throughout the Bay of Plenty region.What You’ll Do Deliver high-quality investigations, analysis, and consulting services for clients on assigned water projects, including preparing detailed reports and technical documents.Provide specialist technical advice and produce practical, buildable designs and solutions, including calculations and drawings.Undertake feasibility studies and prepare reports suitable for client review and decision-making.Support clients with asset condition assessments, renewals planning, and long-term infrastructure strategies.Manage projects, including preparing briefs, fee estimates, project plans, and ensuring timely and clear reporting.Lead or contribute to proposals, bids, and presentations aligned with client needs and WSP’s strategic goals.Develop and maintain strong working relationships with project teams and key clients, acting as a trusted technical advisor.Ensure all work meets professional, technical, quality assurance, and health & safety standards.Actively participate in business development by identifying and pursuing new opportunities in the region. What You’ll Bring Relevant tertiary qualification in civil engineering or a related discipline.Ideally, a minimum of 10 years’ professional experience in water engineering or a closely related field.Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status, or working towards this.Strong technical, analytical, and project management skills, with a client-centric approach.Excellent communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.High attention to detail, strong organisational ability, and the resilience to thrive in a busy, changing environment. Why Rotorua? Located in the heart of the North Island, Rotorua offers a unique lifestyle that blends professional opportunity with natural wonder.
