Senior Project Engineer

Position: Senior Project EngineerLocation: Cork CityContract: Long-term | 39 hours per weekAbout the Company:A leading global pharmaceutical organisation, part of one of the world’s largest healthcare groups.Role Overview:We’re seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join our clients Engineering Project Delivery Team. You’ll oversee project scoping, commissioning, qualification, validation, and start-up to ensure safe, on-time, and compliant delivery.Key Responsibilities:Lead and execute engineering projects within budget and schedule.Scope and gain capital approval for new projects.Support commissioning, qualification, and validation activities.Manage cost estimates, schedules, reporting, and risk.Coordinate with departments, suppliers, and service providers.Drive constructability and operability reviews.Ensure compliance with cGMP, EHS, and site standards.Troubleshoot technical issues and close deviations.Requirements:Degree in Engineering or related field.5+ years’ project engineering/management experience in pharma, biotech, or similar.Strong C&Q and validation knowledge.Proven track record managing budgets, timelines, and risks.Excellent communication and leadership skills.What’s in It for You:Long term contractHighly competitive hourly rate
