We are one of the top workplaces to grow your career (2023 LinkedIn Top Companies List for Aotearoa).About The RoleAs Senior Project Manager, you’ll lead and deliver complex technology and digital projects, the kind that upgrade systems, lift capability, and make life easier for our people and customers. You’ll bring the right level of structure, keeping scope, schedule and budget on track while also making sure we’re thinking about benefits, adoption, and value.You’ll work closely with our architecture, IT operations, and business teams, as well as our external partners, to make sure what we build is practical, sustainable, and set up for success. It’s a hands-on role where you’ll need to navigate ambiguity, connect the dots, and bring people along on the journey.To be a success in this role, you will need:An entrepreneurial and improvement-focused mindset – always asking “what’s the better way?”Strong project management foundations – scope, schedule, budget, risks/issues, reporting, and change control.The confidence to challenge the norm and push for smarter, faster value delivery.Experience delivering IT or digital projects with complex data flows, integrations, or process change.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, from technical teams to senior leaders.It Would Ideal If You HaveExperience across domains such as asset management, ERP/financial systems, GIS, or data analytics platforms.A strong understanding of enterprise platforms, integration, and security/privacy principles.Experience working within an operational utility or infrastructure environment.About UsOur purpose is to connect communities.
