About The RoleJoin a leader in the renewable energy sector as a Senior Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of utility-scale renewable energy projects through the full construction lifecycle, from early works to handover. This role is pivotal to ensuring the safe, timely and cost-effective execution of large scale renewable energy projects.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage construction activities for large-scale renewable energy projects ensuring strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards.Act as a key liaison between internal and external stakeholders across New Zealand, Australia, and globally.Provide regular and accurate project updates to internal/external stakeholders.Collaborate with wider teams including EPC, OEM, TNSP partners/stakeholders.Support cross-functional collaboration with development and asset management teams to ensure smooth project execution and long-term asset performance.Implement best-practice project management systems and maintain high standards of documentation and controls.Prepare and manage project schedules and budgets, ensuring alignment with construction plans and commercial objectives.Ensure compliance with all regulatory approvals, permits, and contractual obligations.Manage the seamless transition of projects from construction to operations, with early involvement in handover planning.Knowledge & Expertise8+ years experience in renewable energy/power generation project constructionIn-depth understanding of the factors impacting renewable energy projects in New Zealand/Globally.Proven background in delivering projects particularly MV and HV grid connections.Strong knowledge of construction project management frameworks and methodologies.Formal qualifications in construction project management.Engineering degree or equivalent technical background preferred.Full, valid driver’s license.Personal AttributesStrong leadership and team management capabilities.Proven contract and risk management skills.Highly organised with strong attention to detail.Clear communicator with solid reporting and presentation skills.Flexible, professional and collaborative approach to problem-solving on complex issues.
