Job Description

Responsibilities:Responsible for the organization, planning, control and execution of projectLead and manage a team of operational staff to meet the objectives and targets as per contract requirements, including drawings and specificationsManage vendor and trade subcontracts and provide clear definitions of work responsibilities; review and approve subcontractor and vendor payment requests.Monitor, control and coordinate site work with the operations team as well as contractors and suppliersIdentify and manage project risks, implementing mitigation strategies to ensure smooth project progressionEstablish and implement controls to ensure that works are carried out safely according to the works programme and produce long term works plans in relation to project budget and cashflow projectionEnsure that the works are carried out in accordance with the Project Quality & Safety Plan to achieve the required CONQUAS, Quality Mark (QM) and WSH complianceMonitor, control and coordinate site work with the operations team as well as contractors and suppliersIdentify and manage project risks, implementing mitigation strategies to ensure smooth project progressionDevelop and maintain good working relationships with external stakeholders, including clients, consultants, contractors & suppliersDevelop and execute procurement of subcontract awards and work together with commercial team in handling contractual matters when required Demonstrate strong safety mindset, mitigate safety hazards, lead safety incident review meetings and ensure the maintenance of safety documentation.Possess strong communication skills, including the ability to anticipate project owner/client questions and effectively navigate challenging discussions regarding costs, quality or schedules.Requirements:Degree in Building / Civil Engineering or related discipline, preferably recognized by Professional Engineers Board (PEB) Singapore or Building and Construction Authority (BCA)At least 15 years’ experience in a similar capacity in the construction industryCandidate with extensive experience in building projects anticipated in Green Mark Platinum, PBU, PPVC, MET, or any DfMA projects is preferredGood knowledge in various contract forms, e.g. SIA, REDAS, PSSCOC, etc., and local statutory codes with authority submission / application proceduresExcellent team player, good interpersonal skills and a “can-do” attitudeAbility to multi-task in a fast paced and dynamic environmentStrong business acumen with strong analytical skillsAn awareness of sustainability initiatives in constructionMindset to work in a digital environmentInformation provided in response to this job advertisement will be treated in strict confidence and be used for recruitment purpose only.
