Are we the road to your future?We are currently searching for an experienced Senior Project Manager to support ourProgram Management serviceslocated within a 200 mile radius of Harrisburg, PA.To be considered for this position, applicants musthave, at minimum, BS in Construction Management/Architecture/Engineering or related field.The Program Management Group serves as a professional consultant to a variety of public and private sector clients in the successful management of individual projects and large-scale building programs. The Group assists with determination of facility needs, development of capital budgets and management of all other professional and construction service providers in the delivery of capital projects meeting the client’s program schedule and budgetary goals.What You’ll Be DoingProject ExecutionActs as the Company representative with the client and internal subconsultants as well as third party consultants and contractors during the program executionCreate design criteria personalized to individual projects and assist with establishing program requirements and budgetsPrepares a Project Execution Plan (PEP) that identifies the project team organization, identifies each specific task or phase and all work that must be performed to complete the project, outlines a schedule to ensure that the project can be completed on time, and develops an estimate and schedule of the manpower requirements needed to complete the projectHolds a project kick-off meeting to review the PEP with project team membersEnsures Quality Control reviews are taking place and are documentedNotifies accounting when the project is ready for the closure cycle and ensures all files and documents are retained in accordance with corporate policyMaintains daily contact with field personnel during all field activitiesProject Monitoring and ReviewWork with architects, engineers, contractors, and city/county/state entities to manage the design and construction of projects specifically tailored to a client’s needsIs responsive and maintains direct contact with clients on a continuing basis to discuss technical and scheduling issuesConducts project staff meetings to review progress and further communication and coordination within the teamParticipates in the month end project review that coincides with monthly billing and status reportsPrepares and presents a detailed project review for the Group ManagerPrepares and issues a monthly project progress reportReviews Revenue Summary Reports monthlyMaintains accurate documentation of job progress through daily logs and other reportsProject Control Man age the projects through design, bid, and constructionDevelops project documents, processes, and procedures required to support quality control and final project deliverablesEnsures that all technical design changes are approved to conform to the standards, systems and procedures as prescribed by the requirements of the projectSolicits the help of the Operations Manager and other Project Managers, as appropriate, to solve scheduling or technical problems encountered in the progress of the workEvaluates the effect of scope changes on project budgets and schedules, then negotiates with the client to increase fees required to accommodate such scope changes as necessaryReviews, approves, and provides necessary documentation for invoicing in a timely manner. Maintains client accounts including collection of Accounts Receivable (AR’s)Anticipates problems and works with client, architects/engineers, contractors, field personnel to identify and implement corrective actionsKeeps client informed of the day-to-day activities of the projectWhat You Need To HaveBachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in Construction Management/Architecture/Engineering or related field15+ years of program management experience10+ years in commercial construction in municipal projectsA broad general commercial project/construction management background and project/program management experience on similar project types; can come from work experience as an architect/engineer, contractor, and/or facilities managerAbility to successfully manage all aspects of commercial projects including schedules,, budgets, and profitability through comprehensive project completionProfessional Engineer registration or Project Manager Certification is preferred Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening to ensure a safe and productive work environment.
