About the Role As a CBRE Property Management Sr. Manager, you will be responsible for supervising the team responsible for all operational and financial activities of large portfolios of properties. This job is part of the Property Management job function. They are responsible for operating buildings on behalf of a client or group. What You'll Do Client Relationship Management:Serve as the primary point of contact for property owners and asset managers, providing consistent communication and reporting on property performance and issues.Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with landlords and investors through transparent reporting and value-added insights.Address owner concerns and inquiries promptly and effectively. Collaborate with clients to develop and implement property management plans and strategies to maximize property value and achieve financial objectives.Building Operations and Maintenance: Oversee the day-to-day operations of assigned residential or commercial properties, ensuring they are well-maintained and run efficiently.Supervise all operational aspects, including maintenance, capital improvements, lease administration, budgeting, and forecasting.Conduct regular property inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and compliance with regulations.Handle contract bidding, vendor selection, and relationship management for quality services at competitive rates.Tenant Relations: Foster positive and productive relationships with tenants, addressing concerns and inquiries promptly and effectively.Provide superior customer service to residents and prospects to enhance satisfaction and increase renewals.Financial Management and Reporting:Prepare and manage property budgets, controlling expenses and conducting regular financial analysis and reporting.Oversee rent collection, renewals, and expenses, often utilizing digital accounting and reporting tools.Analyze financial performance, forecast requirements, and track expenses to maximize profitability.What You'll Need: Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5 - 8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.Ability to lead the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.Leadership skills to motivate the team to achieve broad operational targets with impacts on own job discipline, multiple job disciplines, and department.Proficiency in property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio) and MS Office.Knowledge of relevant property laws and regulations.Extensive organizational skills and an advanced inquisitive mindset.Why CBREWhen you join CBRE, you become part of the global leader in commercial real estate services and investment that helps businesses and people thrive.
