The ideal candidate is a self-starter with extensive public relations experience, a great understanding of the media landscape and excellent content generation and writing skills. The role will be based within the Marketing Department at our Houghton Estate office.Responsibilities:Coordination of the company’s public relations activities.Supporting with the implementation of the company’s Integrated marketing communication strategy.Identifying relevant story angles and supporting the crafting, editing and distribution of all public relations materials including media releases, media alerts, and fact sheets.Maintaining media, clients and supplier relationships in order to effectively deliver on public relations campaigns.Supporting in the management of a public relations agency.Tracking media coverage and report public relations results with recommendations for ongoing improvement.Effectively communicating brand messages through all company channels.Generating content for different formats including articles and opinion pieces, media questions, emails, website pages, case studies, internal and external newsletters, explainer videos and client testimonials.Supporting the Marketing team in creating marketing materials including infographics, presentations and brochures.Publicising public relations activities on internal communications platforms.Filing public relations reports and media coverage.Coordination of interviews with various spokespersons for the company.Provide administrative duties such as supplier liaison, payment processing and database management.Qualifications:The successful candidate should have a 3-year public relations, journalism, communications or marketing degree/ diploma or related studies.Requirements:4 to 6 years’ experience in public relations and content creation in a corporate or newsroom environment.Excellent writing skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including MS-Word, MS-Excel and PowerPoint.Good time management and multi-tasking skills.The ability to work in a diverse team.Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.Competencies:Presenting and communicating information.Working with People.Relating and networking with people.Delivering results and meeting customer expectations.Entrepreneurial and commercial thinking.This position reports directly to the Communications Manager.By submitting personal information in applying for this position, irrespective of how such information is submitted, you consent to the collection, collation, processing and storing of such information and the use and disclosure of such information in accordance with Business Partners Limited Privacy Policy.If you have not received any response from us in four weeks, please consider your application unsuccessful.
