You’ll build and scale secure, performant web applications that improve patient care and operational efficiency. This role involves hands-on coding, architectural input, and product leadership in a team that values fast iteration, clean code and meaningful impact. ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, and maintain Django-based web apps and APIs Architect and manage AWS infrastructure to ensure scalability, security, and reliability Lead and mentor engineers on backend development and cloud best practices Work closely with product, design, and healthcare partners to shape features from concept to release Participate in architecture and system design sessions to ensure technical robustness Implement secure handling of sensitive data and ensure compliance with healthcare requirements (HIPAA, HITRUST, GDPR) Deploy and monitor services using CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps workflows Review code, write documentation and guide developers without Python experience. Stay current with modern Python, cloud, and DevOps trends to improve tooling and development speed RequirementsFluent in EnglishAble to work during US hoursBachelor's of Science in Computer Science or related field 5+ years of professional software engineering experience 2+ years working with Django and Python in production systems Strong AWS experience Proven experience implementing clean APIs for web and mobile clients Familiarity with infra as code (Terraform) and declarative deployment builds (ideally Nix) Experience leading development or product-oriented teams Background in regulated domains like healthcare is a plus Additional InformationThe expected base pay for this role will be between Rs500,000.00 - Rs700,000.00 per month at the commencement of employment.
