Senior Python Engineer, Tech Lead

We are looking for a Senior Python Engineer, Tech Lead to join our product development team to work with the squads evolving and maintaining Omilia's state of the art Cloud services.Product team is responsible for delivering cutting edge functionality around Conversational AI and Virtual Assistant technologies to large enterprises across the world with great success.ResponsibilitiesTechnical Design, develop, manage and support microservices. Sustain, improve and implement new features for our tools written in Python. Consistently produce well designed, testable and efficient code Contribute to our microservice-based architecture which is constantly improved Design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems geared for high-availability and performance. Debug and resolve issues and perform resolution follow-upScalability & Performance Solve scalability and performance issues. Identify performance bottlenecks and suggest improvements. Scale services in combination with docker and k8s technologiesProject & Process Involvement Participate in project planning including research and development Support and improve our Agile transformation Contribute to our backlog of tasks with improvements and suggestions. Implement Proof of Concepts (PoC) to introduce new solutions and ideas to the team. Productivity & Tools Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines Utilize AI tools and use them in favour of robust analysis and development of services and applicationsCollaboration & Communication Contribute actively and effectively as an integrated team member. Meet regularly with the line manager to review progress. Manage issue resolution and critically escalate. Work effectively with other teams, units, and departments.
