We do require team members to work 8 am to 5pm EST (with breaks) as our clients are in the US.What we offer at Digital Silk:A work culture focused on mutual success and continuous growthCompetitive pay and scheduled yearly raisesShares in the company – share in profit upon company saleChallenging projects and opportunity to work with great team membersJob stability in case of illness and personal problemsWork-from-home opportunity4 weeks paid time offResponsibilities:Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans, test cases, and acceptance criteria based on functional specifications, UX/UI designs (Figma), and business requirements.Execute both frontend and backend/admin testing across WordPress, Shopify, and Magento.Identify, document, and log clear, reproducible bugs with supporting evidence (screenshots/video/steps) and follow through until resolution.Perform cross-browser, mobile responsiveness, UX, performance, and regression testing before every deployment.Validate implementation accuracy against designs and development best practices.Collaborate closely with developers, PMs, and designers to prevent issues early, not only detect them after delivery.Track and maintain QA metrics such as open bugs, severity/priority ratios, and release readiness status.Continuously improve QA frameworks, checklists, workflows, and company-wide quality standards, not just for individual projects.Stay up to date with the latest web technology trends, accessibility (WCAG), SEO fundamentals, and security best practices to ensure quality extends beyond visual/functionality alone.Requirements:Proven experience as a QA Engineer / Manual Tester for web development projects, ideally in an agency or multi-project environment.Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, test planning, regression strategy, and defect lifecycle.Solid experience testing WordPress (required) + familiarity with Shopify / Magento or similar CMS/eCommerce platforms.Ability to test both frontend UI and backend/admin functionality — including forms, checkout flows, CMS logic, user roles, etc.Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, JS, and web development best practices (to validate execution quality, not to code).Experience reviewing Figma designs and validating accuracy, UX, and interaction flow.Exceptional attention to detail, structured approach, and high accountability for ensuring zero critical issues reach production.Proactive, solution-oriented mindset — willing to suggest improvements, not just flag problems.Able to work independently while collaborating efficiently with developers, PMs, and strategists.Experience performing basic Lighthouse / speed / WCAG accessibility audits(Bonus) Experience with automation testing tools (e.g., Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Ghost Inspector, etc.)(Bonus) Familiarity with API testing (Postman, Swagger)We are a growing digital agency and are seeking to make IMMEDIATE hires.Recruitment steps:Apply via LinkedInReceive a short questionnaireSend back answers + CVHave a short call with our Recruitment TeamDo a short test related to your job responsibilitiesTechnical interview with our Head of Development and COOGet feedbackWe kindly ask for your CV and all correspondence to be in English.
