Senior QA Engineer – Embedded/IoT Testing

We are on a mission to build a trusted cyberspace where individuals and businesses can thrive with confidence.Job SummaryWe are seeking a Senior QA Engineer specializing in Embedded systems testing for UAV, robotics, and autonomous vehicle applications. This role focuses on developing and executing comprehensive test strategies for embedded software, and hardware-software integration across our autonomous platforms.You will be responsible for designing test frameworks, implementing automated testing solutions, and ensuring the reliability and safety of our embedded systems through rigorous validation and verification processes. You will work closely with embedded systems engineers, hardware teams, and field operations to deliver robust, production-ready autonomous systems.Key ResponsibilitiesEmbedded Systems Testing: Develop and execute test strategies for Firmware and Linux platforms, including bootloader.Safety & Reliability Testing: Implement failsafe mechanism testing, redundancy validation, stress testing, and long-term reliability assessments.Automated Testing: Develop CI/CD pipelines for embedded systems, automated regression testing, and continuous integration workflows.Field Testing: Plan and execute outdoor autonomous operations testing, environmental stress testing, and real-world scenario validation.Qualifications and Experience:Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.3+ years of experience in embedded systems testing or QA engineering for embedded/IoT systems.Strong understanding of embedded software testing and Linux OS concepts.Experience with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing and test automation.Proficiency in Python and shell scripting for test automation and tool development.Experience with CI/CD pipelines, and test management tools (Python, pytest, Robot Framework, Selenium, Jenkins, GitLab CI)Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with UAV/robotics testing and autonomous systems validation.Knowledge of safety-critical systems testing.Familiarity with wireless communication testing (MAVLink, CAN, LoRa, Wi-Fi, BLE).Experience with field testing and outdoor autonomous operations.Technical Testing Focus Areas:Embedded Platform Testing: Bootloader validation, Secure Boot, OTA, etc.Flight Control Validation: Attitude control testing, position control validation, trajectory following verification.Communication Testing: Protocol compliance testing, message integrity validation, network performance testing (MAVLink, network analyzers, protocol testers)Safety System Testing: Failsafe mechanism validation, redundancy testing, emergency procedure verificationHIL Testing: Hardware-in-the-loop test benches, flight simulators, sensor simulators, etc.Key Success Metrics:Automation: Implement automated testing pipelines reducing manual testing effort Quality: Ensure zero critical defects in production releasesPerformance: Validate real-time performance requirements and system reliability Safety: Ensure compliance with safety standards and fail-safe operationEfficiency: Optimize testing processes and reduce time-to-market for new featuresWhat we offer:Competitive salary and benefits package.Opportunity to work on a product that impacts millions of users.A dynamic and supportive work environment.Premium health insurance for you and your family.Professional growth and development opportunities.Annual leave 12-14 days per year + 1 Birthday Leave + 1 X’MasPerformance review: once per yearInternal training/sharing and professional Training coursesTeam building, company trip, year end party, monthly activities,….Devices: Macbook and screen (If needed)Free tea and coffeeComfortable working AreaWorking hour: 9am – 6pm from Monday to Friday
