This will significantly increase your chances of success__________________________________________________________________About The RoleWe are looking for a Senior QA Engineer to join an Identity and Access Management (IAM) squad within a cross-functional technology tribe. The QA Engineer will play a key role in defining and implementing test strategies, automation frameworks, and quality best practices, contributing directly to the improvement of both functional and technical product quality.This role offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with developers, analysts, and product owners in an Agile SCRUM environment, helping to shape a culture of continuous testing and delivery excellence.Main Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain automated and manual test scenarios for functional, regression, and performance testing. Establish QA best practices, ensuring consistency and traceability across all testing activities. Collaborate with developers and analysts to define acceptance criteria and validate software quality. Develop automation frameworks and integrate testing processes into the CI/CD pipeline. Contribute to Agile ceremonies, ensuring quality is embedded throughout the delivery lifecycle. Participate in the QA community, sharing best practices and supporting process improvements. Support defect management, ensuring clear documentation, prioritization, and resolution.Mandatory Requirements⚠️ The following must be clearly listed on your CV to be considered for this position: 6+ years of experience in software quality assurance or test automation; Proven expertise in Cypress framework; Strong experience with Java-based test frameworks such as Selenium, Cucumber, and Karate; Excellent command of Gherkin language and test design techniques; Solid understanding of BDD and TDD methodologies; Experience working with Agile/SCRUM development teams; Hands-on experience with Git and continuous integration pipelines; Good understanding of SQL for data validation and test preparation; Fluent in English (spoken and written).Nice to Have Knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM) concepts and frameworks; Familiarity with Keycloak or similar IAM platforms; Experience in the insurance or banking sector; Working knowledge of French is a plus.Soft Skills Strong analytical mindset and keen attention to detail; Ability to challenge and improve existing processes; Excellent communication and collaboration skills; Proactive, autonomous, and results-oriented approach; Comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment; Commitment to continuous learning and innovation.Other Information Ability to travel occasionally within Portugal if required.
