Senior QA EngineerRemote first - Portugal - Candidates must be based in Portugal.We’re looking for a talented Senior QA Engineer to help us deliver exceptional digital products and experiences. You’ll be part of a creative, cross-functional engineering team that values quality, collaboration, and innovation in everything we do.This role is remote first with hubs in Lisbon and Porto. You will have strong Portugese and a good level of English speaking.What you’ll doWork with a range of clients across industries, ensuring quality is built into every stage of design and deliveryCollaborate with developers, designers, and project leads to embed best QA practices into processes and programmesDrive automation and continuous improvement using tools like Playwright, Cypress, Pytest, Pact, Karate, and k6Build automated end-to-end test suites for web and mobile (Appium 2, Detox, Espresso) and integrate with CI pipelinesLead manual and cross-browser testing with deep CMS experience (Contentful, WordPress, Webflow)Apply AI-assisted testing, accessibility checks, and performance monitoring to ensure exceptional user experiencesWhat you’ll bringProven expertise in automation frameworks and test development (Playwright, Cypress)Hands-on experience in QA for mobile, web, and APIs (Postman, REST Assured, Pytest, Appium 2 etc.)Strong understanding of BDD, CI/CD, and documentation best practicesFamiliarity with accessibility standards (WCAG 2.2), performance testing, and security basicsExcellent communication skills and experience working across multiple projectsKnowledge of Jira, Asana, Figma, and a keen eye for design fidelity and usabilityIf you’re passionate about quality, technology, and creating meaningful digital experiences, we’d love to hear from you.Apply now and we will look to be in touch.Please note this role unfortunately does not come with sponsorship opportunties.
